COLLEGE HISTORY :-

Where as Kalinagar, with its surrounding areas namely Salchapra, Sripur, Fulbari, Sealtack, Panchgram, Janaki bazar, Chiporsangan, Bakrihawar, is very backward in respect of higher education & these places are situated in the flood effected area, where crips are almost every year devastated by flood, resulting the cause of poverty, for which the people of the locality fail to manage the education of their wards by sending them to towns. Where as most of the people of the locality, who are eager to receive higher education had to go to Silchar, Hailakandi, or Karimganj every day by bus or trains, which are over crowded almost every day and as such are very dangerous for treavelling of young boys and girls fs and this daily journy of boys and girls from home to either of the above named towns and back homes find little time at their disposal for personal study at home. This arrangement for their education has almost a failure for their achievements of their purpose & moreover this daily journey in all weathers tells very heavily upon their health.
